How to change maps to google maps in iphone
If you have an iPhone, the default maps app is Apple Maps. However, if you prefer to use Google Maps, you can download it from the App Store and make it your default map app. Here’s how:
- Open the App Store on your iPhone and search for “Google Maps.”
- Download and install the Google Maps app.
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
- Scroll down and select “Google Maps” from the list of installed apps.
- Toggle the “Default Maps App” switch to “On.”
- A prompt will appear asking if you want to change your default maps app to Google Maps. Select “Yes” to confirm the change.
Once you’ve made Google Maps your default map app, any links or requests for directions will automatically open in Google Maps instead of Apple Maps. You can still use Apple Maps if you prefer by opening the app directly.
